Aesthetica Super Symposium Presents the Latest Innovations in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons offers tailored education on aesthetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures to enhance patient safety and improve outcomes.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL – The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) will host the fifth annual Aesthetica Super Symposium March 14-16 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for plastic surgeons seeking the latest innovations in aesthetic surgical and nonsurgical breast, body contouring and facial rejuvenation techniques and procedures.

Aesthetica features a variety of educational modules during its two-and-a-half-day program wherein attendees can create their own curriculum that takes a deep dive into techniques, managing complications and dueling perspectives of noted experts in the field. The meeting is designed to enhance patient safety and improve surgical and nonsurgical outcomes.

"Plastic surgery is a comprehensive and innovative specialty," said ASPS President Alan Matarasso, MD. "As technology and techniques improve and patient expectations evolve, it is our responsibility to remain at the forefront of change to provide quality care for our patients."

The world-renowned faculty will discuss the latest surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic breast, body contouring, gender surgery and facial rejuvenation techniques, share ideas to manage complications, examine individual perspectives on common procedures and teach the latest innovations in aesthetic procedures at the Master Classes.

The Aesthetica program, created in conjunction with plastic surgeons who offer a diverse collection of surgical expertise, provides attendees with the latest innovations and information to further hone the procedures patients seek. According to the 2017 ASPS procedure statistics report, minimally invasive cosmetic procedures grew at a slightly higher rate than surgical procedures in 2017. While three of the top-five plastic surgical procedures focused on the body, the top minimally invasive procedures focused on the face.
