“They sold garage doors out of a trailer in Ruskin Heights and they were thinking about closing down the business, but the 1957 tornado changed everything,” said Denise Dahms in her interview. According to Denise, her dad was about to shut down the company, but the sales went up after the tornado hit Kansas City and the garage door company survived.
Renner Garage Door is one of the leading suppliers of garage doors in the Kansas City area and has been in business for over 60 years.
